All varieties of marijuana are divided into several categories that determine the main morphological and psychoactive properties of the plant (in other words, how it looks and how it works). Within these categories, different strains can, of course, differ significantly, because hemp grows in quite diverse regions of the planet. However, there are more similarities than differences between different indicas, and the same goes for other categories 🙂

INDICA VARIETIES

Cannabis indica inhabits mainly arid and often mountainous areas: Afghanistan, South India, Pakistan, Lebanon, Morocco and Nepal. Indica is characterized by a stocky, branchy structure, low height and intense resin formation. The shape of the leaves is widened, with short “toes”. The inflorescences are larger and denser. The resinousness of the indica makes this variety suitable for the production of hashish. The assortment of 33 glasses of indica is represented by such varieties as Auto Gagarin, Afghan Original, Auto Kabul, Auto Deadryder. Indica effect – hypnotic, analgesic, sedation, muscle relaxation, appetite stimulation.

SATIVA VARIETIES

Sativa is an inhabitant of tropical, humid regions like Colombia, Mexico and the USA, Brazil, Thailand, Jamaica, as well as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Marijuana sativa seeds produce tall, large plants with a long maturity that require a lot of fluid. Sativa foliage has an oblong and thin shape, inflorescences are larger than those of indicas, but due to the loose structure, they are inferior in flower mass.

As a rule, sativa is distinguished by bright odors, very diverse colors, among which citrus predominates, but there are also aromas of other fruits (Pineapple Express or Tangie), berries, flowers (Black Sugar Rose). 33 cups offers Sativa varieties such as Pablo Escobar, Amnesia, AK-47XL, Divine Sativa, White Widow. Sativa connoisseurs respect its invigorating, stimulating effect that enhances intellectual and creativity and relieves fatigue.

HYBRID VARIETIES

Hybrids allow you to taste a mixed effect, which is often more interesting and deeper than the pure stone effect of indica or cerebral high sativa. Also, in cultivation, such varieties are often simpler – and more hardy. The hybrid can be dominated by sativa or indica, or both genotypes can be equally contained. In appearance and effect, these varieties of marijuana combine the characteristics of both parental lines. Usually these are medium-sized plants with an unusual odor.

AUTOFLOWERING AND PHOTOPERIODIC CANNABIS VARIETIES

Any of the above varieties can be presented both in the classic, photoperiod form, and in the autoflowering version.

  • Photoperiods continue vegetative development until daylight hours decrease, thereby usually reaching large sizes, but also living for a longer period;
  • Autoflowers vegetate for 3-4 weeks regardless of lighting, after which they proceed to the formation of inflorescences. This cannabis is smaller in size and has a full life cycle in about 3 months.
